Still figuring it out

As I imagined Rookie Day and the bookending Tavi Gevinson experiences of the last week have absolutely filled me with beautiful tangible inspiration. What I love about Tavi is that her enthusiasm and work ethic is contagious, and not intimidating. She is humble, and sweet, but nailbitingly intelligent and witty. I'm really proud that my sister works for her and I have loved being there right next to her as she grows with Rookie Mag one illustration at a time.

I liked spending some time with my sisters too; I feel like as we grow older we have learnt to respect each other much more and respect each others' skills and differences. I mean Minna still cannot understand why I would only want half of a tub of yoghurt and I will never understand how Eden can find anything in her bombsite of a room, but looking past all that we have come from a very loving and caring family and I think that is shining through more and more as we age. Blllllahaaaahh blah whatever! The main thing is I feel really inspired to do things and feel better about myself and just go out and get the things that I want because I work hard enough to deserve them.
