I wrote this post before I left for the Daptone Super Soul Revue in Sydney and for some reason it didn't publish, so here it is now...apologies! I'll let you know about the Revue tomorrow - for now, enjoy the time warp.

Made THE most frightening crown ever today, with a little $2 fairy doll as the centrepiece...it's so creepy but oh so chic. I also bought the cape I am wearing in the above picture with some gift card money from Christmas. It's lacy and makes me feel like a witch.
I also got some photos developed today from that SLR camera I got from Savers - I clearly have a lot to learn about being a ~photographer~ because a lot of them turned out pretty blurry...although to be honest, I think they look pretty cool and really quite beautiful as they are.
I'm outta touch for the next few days because I'm going to Sydney to see the Daptone Soul Revue...going on a plane for the first time in several years which is something I know will make my heart pound with much more valour than necessary.
