Outro

Sometimes everything falls down all at once and that's pretty rare. But what's even rarer is having it all fall down all at once, and lying in the middle of everything you used to have, or could've had, thought you needed to have or wanted to have - you realise that you're better off without it.

  2. Your art is amazing eli! And I’m so proud my rabbit made it onto it :) hope your still alive as i haven’t spoken to you in ages and the fear of exams has not totally consumed your soul like it had mine right about this time last year- that i had gone past even getting worked up and just gritted my teeth and held my breath. For I had almost forgotten what normal life was like in the midst of everything suddenly ending and everything being unknown and not thinking about anything but everything ending and being unknown and those big ugly marks in my diary that time seemed to be racing towards with unbelievable pace. And yes, i agree i felt so relieved when i ended school that it was all over and it was strange, i didn’t even feel sad or even a hint of remorse that it has ended. on our last day so many people were crying, but i just felt relief that everything that i had cared so much about had ended, and i didn’t have to hold onto it anymore. I felt almost liberated. and after exams ended and i had gone past those big ugly marks in my diary that i thought were the end of the world and nothing could possibly ever exist past those two weeks, I suddenly remembered what life is meant to be like and knew with certainty I hadn’t felt in ages that the sky won’t fall down and the sun will indeed rise in the morning, and when it did it would bath everything in the pure gold.

  3. in real life, anonymous 1, i hate cryptic-ness. but sometimes in writing a bit of ambiguity is nice, because it means the reader can more easily bring their own interpretation to something.

em, that rabbit!!! i just LOVE it so much. it's so funny. and you're right - i just finished my last day at school yesterday and i don't know what to feel, or what to do apart from study and study and study some more but when that's over, and course auditions are over, i don't really know what's going to happen. but in saying that, it will be OK - i know that much.
