Father and son

Bluergh! I am usually a very hardy stockhorse kinda lady but right now I have been struck with a very yucky snotty illness that has made me very tired and down and just b l u e r g h. I guess I'm partly fretting a bit because I absolutely hate holidays and I have a week of 'em next week and holidays are usually when I worry the most about the future, my body, money, work, and all the other things that are not worth worrying about at all. I have been a worrier all my life and unfortunately I think I will be one until the day I die unless I figure out how to not care about things that don't matter (which seems really easy but it's not, it's not).

Basically my plan for next week is write, work, sing (my elderly singing teacher has been unwell for the last month or so but is now finally recovered), exercise, eat without guilt and rest without guilt as well. I have a very hectic last lil bit of semester to go and I want to be in good shape for it ya know. I just gotta remember how busy I'm going to be for the last bit of the year and I'll be craving the days off that I really don't want right now....

Anyway W H A T E V E R. My Lewis is travelling around Australia with The Caccie Chan for most of October and I just swell with pride when I look at those beautiful sunshine people and what they have achieved during their time together so far. For all my ~ interstate ~ readers (if any) you should check them out at some point...they're funny nugs...and I love 'em dearly

Um yeah also last night for our **gudbye for a while** ~ date ~ me and Lewis saw Blue Jasmine by Woody Allen. I mean first we had burgers from the fish 'n' chip shop and poured a bottle of wine into a water bottle so we could take it into the movies with us and Lewis got a yo-yo but after we did that we saw Blue Jasmine. It really was wonderful, and I love Woody and I love that he is is still making excellent films like I loved Midnight in Paris too ya know. Also Cate Blanchett! Is great! I didn't even know! But she is! It had really Streetcar Named Desire-vibes and I loved that play/movie too so yeah loved the whole thing. You should see it.

This is a great song:

I listen to this when I'm snotty and sad:

And this when I'm running very fast:

Sorry I've got to go and make a smoothie now and listen to Lorde's album which came out today. Catch ya!
