energy is wasted if it's not used but don't misdirect it and don't run yourself into the ground. if you are positive and focused there is nothing in the world that can stop you. keep crying over things because it keeps you humble and real. you will be pitchy every now and again and you must be picky but you MUST be smart - don't let a single bendy note ruin an entire performance. same goes for shitty gigs - things happen because the bottom rungs of the ladder aren't built very steady. that's why the people who are the most positive^^ and focused^^ make it - they are the ones crazy enough to jump up from the ground rather than stumble over rungs that break. it's ok to want everything and be ruled by your dreams but you gotta get real. use every hour in the day because every hour is useful. perhaps think about cutting back on the coffee then reconsider because vices are alright. people like you write songs about them.

you should sit quietly and let your head run til it runs out of breath, because it needs to be sharp and it needs to be fit. you need to watch people because they will teach you everything you need to know. that's like the most important thing - watch and listen to people everywhere you go, be quiet, be absorbent, be suggestible and find yourself in strange situations. don't be afraid of surprises. notice the nice things about people and notice the bad things too. write about it all. share everything, it will help someone. draw lines to everything and everyone because one day it will be clear how we are all connected, even though it doesn't make much sense right now. you're only little baby girl so just do what you are told, hold your head high, hold your dreams above the crowd so they know you mean business.
